Compliance Systems Management is Hiring a Construction Safety Manager Near San Diego, CA

Job Title: Construction Safety Manager
Location: San Diego, CA
Compensation: $140k salary package including benefits, car and gas allowance
Our client is seeking a highly qualified Construction Safety Manager to join their team in beautiful San Diego. This pivotal role involves overseeing safety protocols on construction sites, ensuring compliance with regulations, and fostering a culture of safety within our organization.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct regular safety inspections on construction sites, identifying and mitigating potential hazards.
- Develop and implement safety policies and procedures in accordance with local, state, and federal regulations.
- Provide safety training to construction personnel and contractors.
- Investigate incidents and accidents, and collaborate with project managers to implement corrective actions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of safety regulations and industry best practices.
- Collaborate with project teams to integrate safety measures into project planning and execution.
- Manage safety documentation and reporting, maintaining accurate records.
-Working with department heads as a team, open for collaboration with production leaders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field preferred
-CHST or similar certification preferred
- 6-10 years of construction safety experience
- Comfortable with flexible schedule, working mostly on visiting and keeping multiple job sites in compliance in a coach/team leader manner.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction safety standards.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills required
-Bilingual preferred
Work Structure:
- 80% fieldwork: Regular visits to construction sites for inspections, training, and safety assessments.
- 20% office work: Documentation, report generation, collaboration with project teams, and regulatory compliance.
